We work with organisations that need to manage IT estates, technology refresh projects, end-of-lease returns, hardware decommissioning or structured IT asset management projects. MGK Tech supports ICT companies, leasing and operating lease providers, system integrators, financial institutions, insurance companies, data centres, healthcare organisations and other public and private organisations. We are also registered on MEPA, the Italian Public Administration Electronic Marketplace, supporting organisations that operate through the public procurement platform.
Each project is organised according to the characteristics of the IT estate, the number of devices, the locations involved and the customer’s operational requirements. MGK Tech can manage asset audits and inventories, collection planning, logistics, secure data erasure, hardware technical assessment and residual value evaluation. This approach provides a structured overview of the entire process and helps identify the most appropriate destination for each device.
For MGK Tech, decommissioning an IT asset does not automatically mean disposing of it.
Where the technical condition allows it, we prioritise recovery, repair, refurbishment, reuse and remarketing, with the aim of extending the useful life of the equipment and recovering the residual value still present in the hardware. This approach helps reduce the number of devices sent into the waste stream and supports IT asset management practices that are more closely aligned with circular economy principles.
For equipment that can no longer be recovered, MGK Tech works with authorised partners for WEEE management while maintaining traceability of the assets and their final destination.
MGK Tech can organise collections and technical activities throughout Italy, including the islands. Projects may involve a single location or IT estates distributed across multiple corporate sites.
As part of IT Asset Disposition services, operations can also extend across Europe, through activities managed directly or in cooperation with local partners.
